Not everyone needs two floors and a lookout. Our 6 single cottages at El Marena Eco Resort are for people who want a clean, quiet place to sleep near Chera Dip and plan to spend their days outside.
What's inside
Each one is a 180 sq ft room for up to two guests, among the trees. Inside there's a double bed, a wardrobe, a fan and a chair, and a window with curtains.

Who it suits
Couples on a budget, friends who'd rather spend on food than on a room, and solo travellers. If you'd like your own bathroom, a balcony and breakfast, look at the duplex cottage instead.
What it costs
A single cottage is ৳2,000–৳3,000 for the whole cottage, so from ৳1,000 each for two. Sunday to Thursday is the lower price, and it's also the quieter time to come. See more on the single cottage page.
What a night costs for two
On a Sunday to Thursday night the cottage is ৳2,000, so ৳1,000 each. Breakfast from the menu is about ৳260 each for two parathas, egg fry, alu vaji and milk tea. Lunch of rice, lentil and tuna fry is ৳380. The money you save on the room can go on a fish dinner or a lobster instead.
Single cottage or duplex?
Pick the single if you only need a bed, you don't mind sharing a bathroom, and you'll be out most of the day. Pick the duplex if you want your own bathroom, a balcony and breakfast, or if there are more than two of you. Both are close to the same restaurant, football ground and playground, and both get a complimentary drink, mineral water and 24-hour room service.
Tips for your stay
- Bring flip-flops for the walk to the bathroom.
- Bring a small torch and a power bank.
- For a special evening, ask us about a candlelight dinner on the beach.
- Come on a weekday, when it's half our regular price.
