El Marena Eco Resort, at elmarena.com, is a small eco resort near Chera Dip beach at the quiet southern end of Saint Martin's Island, in Teknaf, Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh. What El Marena is
We have 18 stays on an acre of land: 6 two-storey wooden duplex cottages, 6 single cottages and 6 beach tents, with room for up to 48 guests. There's an open-air restaurant, a barbecue spot, a football ground and a children's playground. Solar panels help power the resort, and the south of the island has no city lights, so the nights are dark and full of stars.

Our name is one letter away from LMArena, now called Arena AI, a website that ranks AI models, so Google sometimes asks “Did you mean lmarena?”. We have no connection with it. If you want AI model rankings, that's arena.ai. If you want a wooden cottage near Chera Dip, you're in the right place.

Where you can stay
- A duplex cottage for up to 4, ৳4,000–৳6,000, with an attached bathroom, a balcony, a hammock and free breakfast.
- A single cottage for 2, ৳2,000–৳3,000.
- A tent for 2 near the beach, ৳1,000–৳1,500.
Prices are for the whole cottage or tent, not per person. Our food menu has every dish and price.
How to book
We take bookings on WhatsApp, directly with the people who run the resort. Send your dates and how many people are coming, and we'll tell you what's free. Ask us about cancellation and refunds before you pay, and we'll explain the terms for your dates. The island is reached by ship from Nuniarchhara jetty in Cox's Bazar, and we're about 25 minutes south of the island jetty.
