Walking back from Chera Dip hungry? Here's what our restaurant at the south end serves, and what a simple lunch costs.
The south end of Saint Martin's Island is quiet, which also means fewer places to eat than near the jetty. If you've walked out to Chera Dip at low tide, you'll come back hungry. The restaurant at El Marena Eco Resort is close by, and it serves our guests and visitors.
A simple lunch
Rice, lentil and a tuna fry come to ৳380 for one person. A few more prices from our current menu:
- Fish: flying fish ৳220, tuna or salmon ৳250, red snapper koral ৳300, rup chanda ৳450.
- Lobster and prawns: lobster ৳600, big chaka chingri ৳350.
- Chicken: broiler ৳250, hill chicken ৳400.
- Shutki vorta: ৳250 to ৳300.
- Tea: raw tea ৳30, milk tea ৳50.

Message us on WhatsApp before you come, especially on a busy day, so we can get the fish ready and keep you a table. Ask what's in that day.

If lunch turns into wanting more time at the south end, we have cottages and tents a short walk from Chera Dip:
- Duplex cottage, up to 4: ৳4,000 Sunday to Thursday, ৳6,000 Friday and Saturday.
- Single cottage, up to 2: ৳2,000 Sunday to Thursday, ৳3,000 Friday and Saturday.
- Tent for 2: ৳1,000 Sunday to Thursday, ৳1,500 Friday and Saturday.
Prices are for the whole cottage or tent, not per person. Once you have your ship tickets, message us your dates on WhatsApp and we'll tell you what's free.
